There’s so many amazing comedy-musicians, but this song is by far my all time favourite.
I always have those artists I can listen to endlessly without tiring of them (think Mumford & Sons, Sufjan Stevens) and then I’ll usually have a rotation of songs I’m currently obsessed with. This is one of them. This acoustic version of Foster The People’s Pumped Up Kicks is gorgeous.
I posted a video a little while ago of the early stage version of the clip Hands Say Clap Clap by 8 Bit Love. It was directed and edited by my ex housemate/house husband Bernard Winter and they released the finished product last week.
Massive props to Bernie, he is so incredibly creative and innovative with his ideas and the pairing of his talent and creativity with 8 Bit Love is something to be celebrated.
They’re a great band and he’s great at what he does.
I’m incredibly proud to call them my friends.
